There is a meeting on Saturday the 22nd of March at 2pm organized by BRISI (Bath Royal Literary and Scientific Insitution). There will be four speakers who “will unravel the mysteries of this prominent defensive ditch, that dates from the Dark Ages”.
The speaker are Prof Andrew Reynolds, Prof Emeritus Peter Fowler, Jonathan Erskine & Dr Helen Geake.

A little short notice but there is a seminar on Sunday 22nd February 2014 – In Defence of Old Oswestry Hillfort
Old Oswestry is threatened by a housing development that would destroy the setting of the hillfort.
A large section of Offa’s Dyke near Chirk has been damaged according to the BBC:
